Joined Bioss SA in 2006

Esmé has been involved with Bioss SA since September 1996, initially as an in-house Practitioner and then as Custodian at Absa. In March 2006 she started working as an independent consultant and joined Bioss as an Associate CPA Practitioner, conducting CPA’s for a wide variety of companies including BHP Billiton, Sasol, MTN, FNB, De Beers, Anglo Platinum, Lion of Africa, Department of Foreign Affairs, Toyota, National Ports Authority, Bankseta, Swartland, Safcor Panalpina, Woolworths, CSC, Nurcha, Aveng Lennings and Sasko Grain.

Her educational attainments include an M.Com HRM (RAU), a post graduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing (Unisa) and a B.Com (Hons) Industrial Psychology (RAU). She has attended a variety of short courses including Strategic Human Resources Planning at Michigan University, Process Facilitation with Christo Nel and Max Schupbach, Systems Thinking, Cynefin training with IBM, and a variety of functional specific courses.

A wealth of experience and wisdom

Esmé also specializes in Executive Coaching, working from blue-chip to newly listed companies across all industries. Quoted in the Maverick Magazine’s Portfolio (of) The Coaches as a “visible conscience” she draws upon her wealth of experience and wisdom to help executives unlock the passion within and unleash their true potential.

Other areas of speciality include facilitating Strategic Planning and Large Group Change sessions.

Her consuming passion for optimisation of executive talent, coupled with her understanding of the complexities of the new economy workplace assists her in helping to grow leaders with high and sustainable impact.

The journey travelled

Grounded by 20 years of corporate experience in the Financial Services Industry, including Absa (Group, Corporate and Commercial) and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), Esmé’s specific talents and skills were honed through exposure such as CEO successor assessments and Senior Executive placements and coaching; crafting Talent and Performance Management and Recruitment & Selection approaches; establishing Change Enablement and Organisational Architecture functions at Group level; being the HR team lead for the Absa/Barclays integration team, pre-and post merger, and being part of the Absa People Management Exco.
