“A Life not reflected upon, is a life not worth living” ~ Socrates
Rina joined Bioss SA as an Associate in 2004. She holds a D.Com degree in Leadership Performance and Change and is an Industrial Psychologist. She has accumulated a wealth of consulting experience from a wide range of Human Resource and Organizational Development and Change projects and interventions. Her areas of specialty include Leadership Assessment and Development, Coaching, Business Strategy design, Relationship Building, Organisational Culture and Change and People Integration during Mergers and Acquisitions.
She has a special interest in people in the business environment and holds the philosophy that people, teams and businesses are about purpose, meaning and significance.
Enhancing thought processes
Rina spends much of her time uncovering the current thought patterns of people, creating space for them to experiment with new thought patterns and encouraging them to challenge themselves, their teams and their businesses in order to grow and develop. She is perhaps best known for her challenging, direct and open questions to people, teams and businesses with regards to their purpose, their value proposition and their role to play in relationships and performance. She believes firmly in “don’t give me answers, give me good questions”. Her style is to give you more questions than answers, whilst creating a safe space to explore your own answers.
Rina has worked with Career Path Appreciation (CPA) and the Matrix of Working Relationships (MWR) since 2000 and has been a Bioss SA Associate since 2004. She owns a business called Reflection Thought Process Consulting (Pty) Ltd and has worked extensively in various corporate entities.
Previous roles
She has lectured at the Vaal Triangle Technicon in Human Resources Management. Previous positions include Organisational Development and Training Manager (Sasol Nitro) and Consultant (The Pacific Institute). In these roles she worked extensively with organisational culture, mergers and acquisitions and leadership development.
