After undergoing legal training at the start of his career, Rob accumulated 25 years of experience in the fields of HR and General Management and acquired several HR, IR, Financial and Management Diplomas prior to joining Bioss SA.
Strengthening and consolidating Bioss SA
His initial role in Bioss SA as General Manager was to consolidate and strengthen the administrative, financial, contractual and legal aspects of the company, and later as Director ~ Business Management, to develop and manage these to cater for the ever-growing needs of the business.
In April 2008 Rob withdrew from operational involvement with the company and relinquished his executive responsibilities, but continues to keep a hawk-eye on the development and well-being of the business through his ongoing membership of the Board and ex-officio status on Exco.
Enabling individuals and organisations to achieve “flow”
Rob believes that the quotation above by Aristotle encapsulates the essence of the work of Bioss, which is focused on enabling both individuals and organizations to achieve a state of “flow”. He maintains that the years he has spent with Bioss SA have been the happiest and most fulfilling of his working life, both because of the nature of the work and the people he has had the privilege of working with.
