Ruth joined BIOSS SA in 2006 and currently holds the position of Business Support Manager
Ruth qualified as a social worker at the University of Pretoria and after spending eight years in the field of Social Work, she switched to Human Resources. She is a Human Resources Generalist with extensive experience in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Talent Management, Change Management and Human Resources Consulting.
Ruth has a passion for guiding individuals and organisations to grow and develop to their full potential. She was trained as a Career Path Appreciation (CPA) practitioner in the late 1980’s while employed at the then Gencor (now BHP Billiton) and was part of a team that implemented CPA and MWR in the organisation as a basis for Human Resources Development, Organisational Development and Talent management. Ruth has since also been trained in the Modified Career Path Appreciation
Ruth’s previous experience was mainly in the mining and heavy metals manufacturing industries where she held various specialist as well as managerial positions in the Human Resources departments. These positions include Remuneration, Industrial Relations, Training and Development and Talent Management. She was also involved in the implementation and roll-out of SAP HR in two different companies.
